Ok! So after months of waiting for the right time to pick up my BBI-32, I have finally gotten one and put something together. Now, to set the scene, imagine a kid at Christmas who can't wait to play with his new toy. I got my board last night and worked/still working from 4:30am to Midnight. Long day. Sunday's are always slow so I brought everything with me to work and got started. At first I tinkered around drawing designs for an enclosure made of wood. Meticulously measuring and making scaled prototypes out of cardboard. I even made an enclosure for the BBI-32 out of some Tupperware and a cardboard base but scrapped that idea as I really wanted a self contained unit to save some space as I have a small desk in a tiny apartment. Then I got impatient and couldn't imagine waiting until tomorrow to build something. SO I dug around work and found a box that was sturdy, and a good size, turned out to be great actually, a little taken of the width would have been perfect but alas, limited resources. I cut a hole big enough for the components of the panel to fit into, leaving an inch around the rim to screw into. Even though it's cardboard it is very thick and the screws held well, with a little plastic I punched a hole through to act as a washer and add back pressure. I wires up the BBI-32, secured it with cable ties, and cable tied my wires, finally attaching the bundle to the side of the box at another cable toe in such a way as to relieve mechanical pressure. This sounds way better on paper, the reality of it is very crude. But then, in true DIY fashion, I carefully covered the box I'm duct tape to give it a more technical feel. Haha. Im not sure how to upload pictures directly into this post (someone feel free to clue me in) so follow this like to my Dropbox folder which should be public and take a look! I had a blast and felt more productive at work than I do actually working. (Seriously Sunday's are the slowest) www.dropbox.com/sh/yachxweoml9ajbz/AAD3DsHOX4xFDjLwoTKk6xCEa?dl=0
