I'm curious, is anyone getting DTG Flight School when it's released on Tuesday? I'm thinking that it might be a nice preview of what's to come in the full version later this year.

It certainly looks good from what I've seen. Not sure I'll be getting it though, it seems just as well to wait for the full sim. I am eager to hear what support there is for hardware too. If I'm not able to run my switches and stuff it's going to be a bit of a backwards step in some ways. It's good to see TrackIR is built in out of the box.

Yeah, I'm spoiled to the my Almost Aviation panel now. Hope DTG Flight School supports switches, knobs and everything we've become accustomed to. It could be the way to go for hardcore simmers. Fingers crossed.
On a different note, Froogle news touched on Aerofly 2. (This seems like an appropriate place to post this.) I found version 1 to be graphically impressive and this one looks to be even better. However, the first version was definetely a "lite"-sim in many aspects. But just look at what is graphically possible nowadays! My first PC game played on a window about six inches by 4 inches!
Here are some photos.

Looks good, but I can't help but wonder how good it can be if it runs on and iPad and Android too! I have v1 somewhere but I didn't do more than take it around the block once or twice. I wonder how many more flight sims are cooking that we haven't heard of?!

I just watched Froogle's latest review on Flight School, and I believe I'll save my $15 and wait for the full version without all the bugs.
