Mark or anybody, is there a way save 2D pop-up aircraft panels to a specific monitor in full screen mode running triple monitors in surround and a 4th monitor for gauges/panels? I recently purchased the GNS-750 to use in place of Gmap/Panel Builder (networked), which served me well for years. To use the 750, I moved away from using my 4th monitor on a networked PC via simconnect. I now use my 4th monitor as part of FSX, which of course blacks out in full screen. The 2D pop-up 750 works great but was horribly stretched across the three surround screens initially of course, as were other 2D pop-up windows, requiring resizing and dragging. Upon Googling, I was able to figure out how to change the size and position of all my 2D pop-up panels/windows so that they look right in 2D surround mode... on the "main" FSX monitor(s) only. (I even added a radio stack which my system sorely needed.) But for the life of me, I can't figure out how to save the 2D windows to the 4th monitor in order to avoid dragging and dropping. I've tried saving the flight in multiple ways, etc. I'm guessing there's no way around this.
I'm also completely unable to figure how to save the size and positon of the ATC window even on the main FSX window/monitor. I've tried editing my saved "default.flt" with no luck. I don't want to use FSX "windowed mode" with the title bars visible, etc. And saving ATC size and position in windowed mode as a default flight and reverting to full-screen doesn't work consistently.
Mark, I recall one of your videos may have covered this? How do you manage your GPS? Resize and drag each time? Apologies if my questions have been covered here or on your channel.
I'm not sure why I bought the 750! I like it but I just further embedded myself into FSX, which seems nuts! Now I'm dug-in like an Alabama tick!
