I'm probably missing something, but I'm having trouble deciding exactly how many each part (switch) to buy. Perhaps it's located on the Construction Guide, but I don't have that yet as I'm waiting for the acrylic panels to arrive (I'm in the US). I have the e-book and can't find it in there.
What I'm looking for is something that tells me how many of each part number I need for each board and where it goes on the board.
Also, I've searched high and low for the R18-23B series switches and can't seem to find them in the US, just in Europe. Would the R13-23B series work just as well? I can't seem to figure out what the configuration/specification difference is between the two.
Obviously, I'm a novice at this but would appreciate any help I can get.

Hi Chuck. I will be at the post office this morning to despatch your panels. In the meantime I will try to answer your questions. The quantities required for each panel are listed below. I guess I should add these to the list, although you can figure it out by looking at the pictures . Likewise, figuring out where each one goes. If you download the graphic templates there is an illustration included with each that shows the layout. (I suggest you cross-check these lists with the pictures in case I have made any mistakes.)GPS+ 10 black square buttons (R18-23B-2-H) 2 green square buttons (R18-23B-6-H) 2 red square buttons (R18-23B-3-H) 1 red latching round button (R13-512B1 RED) 2 black round buttons (R13-502MC/BLACK) 3 rotary + grey knobs (CTS 288V232R161B2) 2 rotary + black knobs (CTS 288V232R161B2) AP+ 10 black square buttons (R18-23B-2-H) 1 green square buttons (R18-23B-6-H) 1 red square buttons (R18-23B-3-H) 2 black round buttons (R13-502MC/BLACK) 1 red round buttons (R13-510A BLK) 3 rotary + grey knobs (CTS 288V232R161B2) 2 rotary + black knobs (CTS 288V232R161B2) As for substituting the R13-23B buttons, I really can't say. I have googled this code and get different things from different sites, including a variation on the reported mounting size (one site reports 11.65mm, one reports 12.2mm). I don't know how these codes work but I note that I have tried alternatives with the code R13-23B from Rapid Online and found that while they look identical and fit the holes, they have significantly stonger springs and so don't work as well. I would say the only way is to buy one and try it out. (I will include one of each of these switches in your package so you can see the difference.) AP+ layoutGPS+ layout
