Hi
Everyhing in the title ! I do not succeed to configure the reverse on a common joystick (one thrust lever for all engines). The idle point is marked on the slider. From idle to full forward, it is ok. But going backward, not. I have a course from idle to back which is doing nothjng (it looks like)
I maybe should install FSUIPC which I think will be able to do it. I do not really know MSFS ; (I mean I did not practice a lot this sim)
Thanks

Try looking here, which Aerosoft seems to be directing people to. I haven't looked because mine just works without having to do anything. I am using the VF 'Test and Calibrate' program with my TQ6 throttle quadrant.

For testing purpose and because I am rebuilding my cabin in a lets say v2... I am using the A320 joystick. We have a button at the throttle axis bottom. I choose to assign this button to "toggle thrust lever". It switch from forward to reverse and vice versa. It is ok for STOL landings

It's better than the old FSX way of just getting max reverse or none! BTW, I was thinking about how to fake the prop drag effects when going to idle on the final approach, as the lack has been cited as a very unrealistic. It's probablywhy the aircraft floats forever and makes short touchdowns difficult. I am guessing with FSUIPC you could get it to automatically use a bit of reverse thrust when you close the throttle to idle. You'd need to make sure it only happened when your airspeed was over a certain threshold, as you don't want to be rolling backwards on the ground at idle . I will need to play with reverse in the air to see if it actually makes a difference, otherwise it will be a waste of time . Oh, and maybe the new prop modelling coming soon will fix this anyway!

The reverse behavior is looking better in this MSFS version than the previous FSX one. We cannot go in reverse with levers if engines are off for example. Normally it should be impossible to do it while flying. A funny thing to test
