Hi I have two yokes installed and I have to switch one off to use the other! At the moment, I pull out plug on USB 1, and put in USB 2 but this causes a lag and is not really satisfactory. Can I leave them both plugged in, and just operate the one chosen when I hand over to the co-pilot?
It would also be interesting if I could install a switch in the USB wiring that would disable the relevant yoke, but not fully switch it out of the USB input which causes an uninstall each time!
I hope that you can understand the problem.
Any suggestions?
Tony. Plymouth UK

I'm pretty sure you can just leave both plugged in. As long as you don't move both at the same time there's no problem.

Hi Tony,
Like Mark said you can plug both it will work. But you should take care to put one yoke in safe place to do not move it acceidentively.
You can also use an USB HUB with switches on each port. I am using such thing and it is practicle : everyhing is plugged and when needed you press the button front of the USB port. You have plenty of those on the net. Preferably choose a powered supply one.
Bye Philippe

Plymouth UK Hi Tony, I made a PCB with a switch that switched between yokes for my friend with a 737 cockpit, it worked very well with only a slight delay when switching between the two. I fitted a large switch with the closest I could get to an aircraft style switch that was mounted into a small panel. I do have a few kits left so if you are interested I could make one up for you without a panel. Let me know, PM me and I can send over some pictures. Pete
