Hi
Some months ago I discovered a facebook group SimpartsUniversal Owners and I entered in touch with Richard the admin and builder. After years starting my DHC-6 project, I had enough to wait for time to invest in it (not retired ; sill working and private pilot too) I decided to order some devices I never succeed to do correctly on my own.
So here they are (in separate posts below) :
The tacometer and the ELT alarm (here vintage type for the DHC6-300 look)
The tacometer starts counting hours with the MASTER button on
The ELT is generating an alarm sound ; it is more for me to repeat engine failure gestures because we cannot press it in real life when in the aircraft doing this exercice with an instructor.

My prefered is the AOA indicator. I never seen it in any DHC6 TwinOtterbut it is used by bush pilots to better catch the plan approach and avoid stall ... It reflects the incidence of the aircraft with LEDs I encourage you to look in youtube where I got a lot of explanation regarding this indicator Out of the box here during a stall exercise to see the red LEDs Retour sur le plan Sur le plan de descente

You are very dedicated. I have found the MSFS Twin Otter very disappointing and not really worth bothering with, other than as a generic easy-to-fly plane. I have had a quick look at the new Caribou, which has the cool factor as the DHC6's cousin, although I have not flown it much at all so far.

Thanks. I do not fly with it too As you know it is quite exciting to build your own cockpit. I am learning a lot
