Hi, first time panel builder here.
My passion is helicopters, gyro's and light aircraft. I run FSX-SE with Orbix England and 'fsx power project' (Freeware- adds most of the UK national grid, electrical Pylons, wind turbine sites, cooling towers and chimney stacks, mostly in the UK but covers the rest of world too) great for VFR flying, www.allflightmods.com. I've also got UK Farmstrips fsx loaded (Freeware), this adds 75 orbix compatible, very detailed, farm strips in the UK, great add-on, check it out at www.normandown.co.uk.
So, I've decided to jump in and 'just do it'! After a few months of reading all the threads on here and other sites, and buying the panel builder ebook by Mark (fantastic work Mark)! I have just ordered all the parts needed!
I have re-designed the panel to incorporate the screen and I was thinking of using add on GPS software? So I can still see all the writing when it's been reduced in size.
I'll keep you all posted with my progress as it goes along.
Thanks again for a great book. And great projects people.

I was thinking of using add on GPS software? So I can still see all the writing when it's been reduced in size. I use the Reality-XP GNS530 and it's great - it scales properly, unlike the FSX ones. It's a pain to program as you need to send it keystrokes, but that's do-able and once you have it set up it works great. Will be interested to see your results! BTW, your farm-strip link doesn't work for me...

Sorry guys, my fat fingers, the Farm strip link is:- www.nomandown.co.uk. (FSX_Farmstrips_FTX). I'll post some photos of the updated panel graphics later, had most of the switches arrive yesterday, so things are getting real. Going to make a cardboard/ wood mock-up first to make sure everything fits and looks right. Keep flying
