Wow! Did you make use of an existing controller board or did you have to get another? I guess the radar interface is accurate in regards to how FSX draws the weather? I guess it has to be. Is it networked? I know nothing about the Reality XP stuff. It looks really nice and blends well with your existing setup!

Is it networked? I had to get another board (that's eight now), although I just had to go into the next room to 'get' one, since I have a box of unsold ones I bought for the kits And yes, it simply reflects (ho ho) the FSX weather but it is a simulation of the radar system, not just a weather map. In other words it detects precipitation and models some properties of the radar beam, including the tilt and gain, ground clutter and radar shadows. It isn't networked, it's just a 2D gauge. I have it on another little screen and I built a panel for it. You can control it with keystrokes, just like the RXP GPS, although it's hard not to run out of unused key combinations. Seems pretty cool so far (I have been using it to fly into thunderstorms instead of away from them!)
